The mission of the City of Rupert Water Department is to provide an uninterrupted supply of safe, clean water, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The department is located at 10th & A Street and is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Resources below include the annual Consumer Confidence Report (water quality), the lead and copper service-line inventory, and the seasonal irrigation schedule.

Water Rates

Current water rates (updated 04/29/2026):

  • New residential hookup — $1,200
  • Residential flat rate — $26.99 per month, includes the first 3,000 gallons of usage
  • Residential consumption rate (after the first 3,000 gallons) — $1.36 per 1,000 gallons
  • Commercial flat rate — $26.99 per month, includes the first 3,000 gallons of usage
  • Commercial consumption rate (after the first 3,000 gallons) — $1.59 per 1,000 gallons
