Bagley Hotel

Two separate wood-frame structures originally occupied this site: the Idaho Telephone Company's building on the west lot, purchased by Mayor Marion M. Makay for $500, and the J. L. Jolley Cash Store on the east lot. A Women's Rest Room operated in the Mackay Building beginning May 1, 1909, offering a comfortable space for visiting women from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fire destroyed both buildings in 1910, leaving the lots vacant until 1915, when the current brick structure was erected. The Haynes Rooms — later renamed the Bagley Hotel, now closed — occupied the second story. The main floor housed the Stag Pool Hall and Lunch Room from 1931 onward, while Roper's Clothing Store occupied the west section. The building features brick cornices supported by brick dentil accenting the roofline.
