Nancy's Floral

On March 30, 1907, Charles S. Roe sold this lot to Rupert's first mayor, Marion M. Mackay, and Llewellyn Zug. Early structures included a land office and furniture store. Following the destructive fire of September 5, 1910, a two-story brick building was erected. Historical records indicate a billiard parlor and barber shop occupied it around 1916.

The structure subsequently housed Broadhead Electric (1930s), Reed's Riteway Hardware (1939), and Coast to Coast Hardware (until the 1950s). Later tenants included La Cadeux Gift Shop (1970s), Pomerelle Portraits, Banner Images photography, and eventually Nancy's Floral. The building received updated brick veneer in 1979 and features seven decorative medallions on the second story with extended brick dentil work supporting a modest cornice and brick-capped parapet.
